The English-Speaking World

The English-speaking world is a group of countries and places where people speak English. English is spoken in many parts of the world, from North America to Africa and Asia. It is the most spoken language around the globe, with many people using it every day.

English started in Early Medieval England and grew over time. Today, it is very important for talking to people from different countries. It helps in many jobs, like flying planes and working in science. Big groups like the United Nations use English to share ideas.

Some places where English is the main language are the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. But English is also an important language in many other countries, like India and Nigeria.

People learn English in schools all over the world. It is very useful for making friends and learning new things. Whether you are reading a book, watching a movie, or talking on the phone, English helps connect people everywhere.
