Middle school is a special time in a child's education. It comes after primary school and before secondary school. Kids usually start middle school around age 11 and finish around age 14.

What Happens in Middle School

In middle school, students learn many different subjects. They often have different teachers for each subject. This helps them get used to changing teachers and classrooms. It is also a time when kids make new friends and learn how to work together.
